Jennifer is my 2014-2015 Senior Rep for Branson School and is the sweetest person you will ever meet! She just went on the most AMAZING vacation in Australia with her family – So jealous over here! Her senior session took place at Baker Beach in San Francisco on a super windy day, on top of the fact that she had just injured her foot playing soccer and had to wear a brace in the cold, wet sand. You would never know because she was such a trooper and laughed and smiled the whole time! Enjoy her images… They are simply gorgeous. Thank you Jenn for being such a sweetheart and my rep this year! Contact Jenn if you want more information about her experience with Nicole Angelo Photography.
Meet Holland, my Senior Rep for Marin Academy! Her session took place on a gorgeous day here in SF at Golden Gate Park. She just finished up her water polo season and is really excited to be half way done with her senior year. Enjoy the photos of this absolutely STUNNING girl!! Thank you Holland for being my MA rep!! Contact Holland if you want more information about her experience with Nicole Angelo Photography.
Happy New Year!
This is the first of four posts from my 2014-2015 senior rep sessions, and I am kicking it off with Elizabeth Grayson from St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco! She is a coxswain for the rowing team and is SO excited about the opportunities open to her in the fall. She has a killer smile, gorgeous piercing blue eyes, and is SO much fun to be around. We did her session at the Legion of Honor, Baker Beach, and the Sea Cliff neighborhood. Thank you Bizz for being an awesome rep this year! Contact Bizz if you want more information about her experience with Nicole Angelo Photography. The remaining 2015 senior portrait dates are filling up!

Michaela and Chiara met me a few weeks back at the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field to model some Pura Vida Bracelets for me. If you don’t have your own set of these bracelets yet, do yourself a favor and jump on the bandwagon. I am currently obsessed; They are fun to mix and match with different outfits and aside from being absolutely adorable, they support a ton of causes… Just last year they donated $140,000 to over 190+ charity organizations. Awesome! (They are also based in La Jolla/San Diego and support artisans in Costa Rica, two places very dear to my heart!) If you a headed to college next year, or if you are currently in high school, you can sign up to be a campus rep with them and receive tons of discounts here! Now… the photos!
Have. Your. Proposal. Photographed. No, really… Do it. Silas had our proposal photographed by our good friend Brian, and I am so, so glad he did! The proposal goes by so fast, and having photos of such an incredible moment is something I will always cherish. If you are interested in having your proposal photographed, we will want to scout the location together beforehand so we can figure out exactly where I will be hiding, where the two of you should stand to make sure that you are facing the right direction, and see if there aren’t any other major distractions. I want you to choose a location that is special to the two of you, and we can make anything work! Most people come to me with a vision already in mind, but I am happy to help and offer suggestions if needed!
Here are a few of the proposals I’ve photographed recently, as well as our own proposal! I especially love the “we pulled it off!” eye contact shots in these sets!
RJ proposed to Jen on their ranch in Moorpark, CA in the early morning hours while taking one of their horses for a walk before heading out to a family brunch. Although Jen didn’t see me, the horse was WELL aware of me hiding in the bushes, and wasn’t a fan! haha
Ogi proposed to Anne in the late evening after dinner at the top of Vallejo Street in San Francisco near an awesome view of the bay bridge. I was hiding in the bushes in the darkness like a total creeper and had to explain to a few terrified residents what I was doing! hahaha
Pascal proposed to Ashley at the top of Bernal Heights Park overlooking downtown San Francisco while taking their dogs on their morning walk. Pascal and Ashley planned a “housewarming party” for that day, which Ashley didn’t know was actually their engagement party! I was able to get some of these photos to them within the next hour to display on their TV at the party that day, too.
And OUR proposal, planned by my wonderful husband, shot by Brian Kent of ABM Wedding Photography at Kate Sessions Park in San Diego! Silas wrote me the sweetest song, and I totally missed the part in the song when he proposed! hahaha He played it again for me after the “real” proposal.
I love Miki’s ears in this one… she’s so excited, too!
And finally, one of my favorite photos I took of our pup with my engagement ring 😉
I am so excited that I finally get to share this absolutely gorgeous wedding with you all! It was recently featured on Exquisite Magazine’s Blog Here so be sure to check out some of the detail photos featured over there that I didn’t include on this post! The ceremony took place at the Carmel Mission Basilica, and reception was at Holman Ranch in Carmel which is a breathtaking venue!
Vanessa and Jimmy were one of my favorite couples not only of 2013, but of all time. They are both incredibly sweet and hilarious, and we spent a few wonderful days with them last year; Thankfully they are up here in the bay area and we will get to see them, specifically in just a few weeks for a family session at their family ranch! (SO excited!) We bonded over the planning process (we were planning our weddings at the same time!) and had a ton in common (Silas’ family are Stanford alums and Jimmy’s family are die-hard Stanford… just one example among many other things!). Initially we were introduced to them through my friend, Jamie Rose, from my sorority in college (Jimmy is Jamie’s younger brother) and they have absolutely become clients turned friends. V+J, I am so glad we have stayed connected to you two, and can see your marriage and family grow!
Before the photos, I also have to give a shout-out to the A-MAZING vendors from this wedding, some of the BEST in the industry, and absolutely the best in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Heidi from Coastside Couture was unbelievably wonderful; their florist Christine of Christine Cater and Events did a PHENOMENAL job with the arrangements, bouquets, etc.; and we just loved working with Andy from Blue Moon Productions who made THIS sweet video for their wedding. And, Silas and I want to be friends with Michi from Michi Sushi who did their tuna ceremony; This was a first for us, and we are totally hooked!!!
