Whew… It has been a whirlwind year already, and wedding season is just beginning! May through mid-June is going to be really busy, so I apologize if blogging gets put on hold for awhile! I’ll be out of the country twice, have wedding(s) almost every weekend, and am finishing up the school year with my Kinders. It’s going to go by SO fast, so I’m going to try my best to savor every moment!
Now looking backward, my first wedding of the year was at the beginning of January, and what a way to start off 2011. Evelyn and Jimmy were married in Redondo Beach at the Portofino Hotel and Yacht Club on an absolutely beautiful Southern California day and because they planned for lots of extra time post-ceremony, we had the chance to get some gorgeous shots at the Redondo Beach Pier before heading to the reception. I originally met Evelyn through our mutual good friend Brittany, and I quickly became friends with E throughout the wedding planning process this past year. Ev, I am so glad we met and I had the BEST time celebrating and dancing with you at your wedding!
See you soon, Love!
Bloggers, I hope you enjoy the photos… Special thanks to John Mueller for second shooting for me! So fun!![]()
**Hair by Tiffanie Cross and makeup by Stephanie Lawrence

Evelyn is very close to Jon Voight, and he came along with us to the pier for pictures… and ended up carrying all of the bridesmaids belongings the whole time… hehe

Amber and Jason were referrals from Christie and Jeff you may remember from their adorable Stone Brewery Wedding last October, and I am SO thankful that they are now in my life as clients and friends! Not only are they the cutest couple ever, but they are absolute genuine people with hearts of gold and they will make each other SO happy for a really, really, really long time! Jason is the sweetest person alive, and Amber is going to be an A-MAZING wife and mother one day! Amber and I hit it off right away, and all of these little details were completely HER ideas(!)… the teapots were her grandmother’s, she MADE the blanket (I’ve already put in my order for one!), and let me tell you, this girl makes some DELICIOUS chocolate chip marshmallow cookies (THANK YOU AGAIN AMBER!!! My mouth is watering at the thought of them again!)… This girl can give Martha Stewart a serious run for her money! I absolutely can NOT wait for your country themed DIY wedding in September!!! YAY!!!
