I was introduced to this fabulous couple through my friend Katie… Katie and I played travel softball together (and against each other on rival high school teams!), and I was so excited and thankful to be reconnected with her.A huge perk of being a “young” photographer (I know I’ll get a few laughs after that comment…) is being reconnected with old friends, especially at this age when so many are either getting engaged, married, pregnant, starting families, starting new jobs, etc. and need photos. Since this is my second job and I (thankfully) don’t need to advertise (with the exception of posting on Facebook if you want to call that “advertising”) all of my clients are referral-based and I get to see people I haven’t seen in a really long time… Awesome!
Anna and Olivier. This adorable couple met while working at nearby wineries in Northern California… Olivier is from France, and their ceremony was half in French as a large number of their guests did not speak English, which was a completely amazing and unique experience. These two are different, and yet also very similar, and their similarities and differences simply add to the obvious magnitude of their relationship. Their love is completely real. I absolutely adore you two and am so thankful to have met you and share in your perfect day!
Side note, one of my second shooters (not for this wedding) Leslie is getting married this year at Maravilla Gardens… When a wedding vendor chooses a site as their own venue, you know it’s a good one!If you are looking for a place for your ceremony and reception in Ventura County, add this one to your list of must-see locations!
